From Lucerne to all of Switzerland
What began as a regional specialty retailer for catering and hotel supplies is now a well-established full-service provider for professional kitchens, hotels, restaurants, and institutional food service throughout Switzerland. Three generations, one conviction: close ties to the food service industry, a wide product range, and personalized advice.
The hulu cutlery holder – an invention for the world
1967 entwickelte Bruno Hunkeler den hulu-Besteckbehälter. Eine Eigenentwicklung, die internationale Massstäbe setzte und den Namen Hunkeler weit über die Schweiz hinaus bekannt machte. 1972 und 1980 folgten Lieferungen an die Olympischen Spiele.
Innovation as a Constant
1984 erschien der erste Fachkatalog für Gastronomie und Hotellerie. 1998 übernahm Bruno Hunkeler das Unternehmen und trieb die Entwicklung neuer Eigenprodukte konsequent voran. 2012 folgte der erste Webshop – ein Meilenstein für die digitale Bestellmöglichkeit unserer Kundschaft.
